LADY Gaga's fans have reacted in the best way to her dramatic Super Bowl halftime performance, sharing hilarious memes after she FLEW on to stage.

And while she received widespread praise for the electrifying show, many fans have now compared her to everything from children's character SpongeBob SquarePants, to Kermit The frog and more.
One meme showed SpongeBob descending in the Goofy Goober Rock song on the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie from 2004, as fans claimed the singer may have even drawn inspiration from the film.
One tweeted: "Lady Gaga trying to out do spongebob."
While one added: "Lady Gaga wanna be Spongebob so bad."
Meanwhile another funny tweet showed Kermit the Frog freefalling from the sky.
And one user added a video captioned "Lady Gaga from the top rope" which saw the singer 'transform' in to a WWE performer jumping through a table.
However it wasn't all jokes, as many stars took to the social media site to congratulate the singer on the show.
Katy Perry tweeted: "I want jumping gifs stat! Bravo @ladygaga."
Meanwhile Chrissy Teigen wrote: "YES Gaga!!"
And even Ivanka Trump was impressed, despite a near-subtle dig to Donald Trump, writing: "Incredible performance by @ladygaga."
Bruno Mars tweeted: "@ladygaga you killed that!!!!"
And Hillary Clinton tweeted: "I'm one of 100 million #SuperBowl fans that just went #Gaga for the Lady, & her message to all of us."
The star began her incredible half-time show perched on the stadium roof, showing off her stunning figure in a short silver jewelled leotard and fishnet tights.
Adding a dramatic mask, Gaga then jumped on to the pitch and wowed the crowd in Houston, Texas, with a 12-minute medley of her songs including Poker Face and Born This Way.

Despite two costume changes she avoided any wardrobe mishaps, and has been widely praised for the show-stopping performance.
About 110million TV viewers watched her set, during a break in the New England Patriots' 34-28 win against the Atlanta Falcons.

While many fans expected the star to use the platform to make a political statement, the singer focused more on her music for the show.
"The only statements that I'll be making during the half-time show are the ones that I've been consistently making throughout my career," she previously said.
However she did perform her hit Born This Way, including the lyrics: "No matter gay, straight or bi/Lesbian, transgendered life/I'm on the right track baby/I was born to survive."

And surprising many, she also performed Woodie Guthrie’s This Land is Your Land, which some viewers have claimed could have been a subtle dig at new President Donald Trump.
"One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all," she said, in an apparent jab.
Mid-way through the medley of hits, Lady G sat down at a piano and performed Million Reasons.

"America, how you doing tonight? We're here to make you feel good. Do you want to feel good?" she asked the crowd.
And proving she'll never forget where she came from, the star also gave a shout out to her beloved mum and dad at home.
She closed out the show with an explosive rendition of Bad Romance.
Completing the show with a huge mic drop, fireworks went off behind her in an incredible finale.
Earlier this week, Gaga spoke of her excitement at being the star performer this year, following in the footsteps of Beyonce, Madonna, and her personal favourite, Michael Jackson.

At a press conference on Thursday the New Yorker vowed to put on a show the sporting crowds will "never forget."
She revealed her favourite half-time memory was watching the King of Pop rock the Rose Bowl in California in 1993 and gushed: "Watching Michael Jackson do the halftime show is one of the fondest memories that I have.

"He encapsulates everything that you love about a great performer.
"You watch him go on stage and you can see he's getting his head into the zone and he's having a true defining moment. It's what it must feel like to be a champion."

Stadium perspective
Well that’s how you make an entrance.
She promised athleticism and energy, and Lady Gaga certainly delivered, jumping down from the roof after singing ‘God Bless America’ on top of the NRG Stadium.
Nobody was quite sure what to expect, but everyone inside the stadium was treated to a surprisingly orthodox performance by Gaga’s standards.
There were no meat dresses or political statements, just some of her top hits, and some well rehearsed choreography with the many back-up dancers – all about the music. It was refreshing to see, and a privilege to witness in person.
One of the best half-time performances in recent years. I say one of, I’m a Beyonce fan, so it’s hard to beat her lights out performance in New Orleans a few years ago.

According to E! News, Lady Gaga was spotted crying with happiness following her amazing performance last night.
"She was so happy with her performance," a source told the site."It was everything and more than what she expected."
"She is so emotional now and so pleased," the source added. "She thanked everyone involved with this production. She is so kind and thankful to everyone working with her."
