Thomson Causeway Area Trick-or-Treat in the Park
A local campground held their annual trick-or-treat event this weekend.
This free event is held the third Saturday of every October at Thomson Causeway Recreation Area.
Campers decorate their camp area and pass out candy to local families as they trick-or-treat.
Reservations for campers participating in this event starts six months in advance.
Organizers say this a great and safe event for families as they block off the road from cars.

Body of Texas State freshman is found wedged beneath shuttle bus
A Texas State University freshman attending an off-campus fraternity party was struck by a shuttle bus and dragged more than 500 feet to her death, and her body was not discovered until 14 hours later.
Guadalupe County Sheriff Arnold Zwicke said Monday that an autopsy showed 20-year-old Jordin Taylor's cause of death to be consistent with being hit and dragged by a bus.
Taylor's body was discovered shortly after 1pm on Saturday beneath the vehicle at Cool River Ranch, a concert venue and tubing site near Martindale.
