Deadbeat dad Martin Saunders fatally shook baby then posed in a loving family photo
A father who violently shook his 10-month old baby to death before posing in a family photograph tenderly kissing the brain-dead infant has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Martin Saunders, 26, critically injured his son Ryan Kennedy at his Bidwill home in Sydney's west in 2019, leaving the baby boy on life support in hospital.
At the time Saunders' loved ones, including his ex-partner Rochelle Kennedy, were not aware the drug and alcohol dependent dad was the one responsible for the baby's horrific injuries.

A high school cheerleader has died while posing for photos with her friends on the beach during spring break after the log they were playing on rolled over and pinned her underneath.
Aurora Genai Sheffel, 14, of Eugene, Oregon, was 'taking pictures and posing' with her pals atop the piece of timber sticking out the sand at the South Jetty Park Beach in Oregon, as the tide receded around them.
Suddenly, the log had twisted in the shifting sand and surf, trapping Aurora underneath while her friends leaped to safety, according to authorities.
