
RB Kitaj paintings and drawings - in pictures
Later this month two shows together form the first British retrospective of the work of RB Kitaj since his suicide in 2007. They also offer the first comprehensive look at the artist's painting in this country since a controversial exhibition at the Tate gallery in 1994 dramatically changed the course of the rest of Kitaj's life, and his artObsessions, at the Jewish Museum, London NW1, 21 February-16 June, and Pallant House gallery, Chichester, 23 Feb-16 June
